Your Final Shoe Fest 2015 Reminders – Getting Here, Weather Updates, Rules, Accommodations and More!

RockCreekCampShawThe Shoe Fest team is on site at Camp Shaw and setup is underway for this weekend’s 5 Year Anniversary Celebration! Matt of Old Shoe snapped this beautiful photo of Rock Creek yesterday morning, and we can’t wait to see all of you relaxing in the river in just a few short days…

As you pack and prepare to head our way, we have a few final reminders and announcements…

PACKING & PREPARATION

To save yourself time and money, we suggest you get tickets online this week, BEFORE you get to Camp Shaw. 3 Day Passes, as well as Saturday + Sunday Passes, and Sunday Only Passes are ON SALE NOW. The Box Office will be open each day at Camp Shaw – arrive anytime between 10 AM to 12 AM on Friday, or between 8 AM to 12 AM on Saturday & Sunday if you wish to buy your tickets on site. As always, once you have your wristband, you will be free to come and go as you please.

As you pack, be sure to review our Rules & FAQ Page. Cars will be searched for glass and fireworks, which are prohibited, as are lanterns and open fires (but your grill is OK). Please note that while the designated fire pits at Camp Shaw will be open, you can NOT bring your own firewood, as it carries invasive species that are dangerous to the land – firewood WILL be available at the Trading Post. The Rules & FAQ page also has details on camping, parking, dogs, beer and adult beverages, and more.

Looking ahead at the weather, it’s going to be a HOT ONE, with highs in the upper 80’s or lower 90’s throughout the weekend! Please be sure to pack plenty of water and your reusable water bottle, and be sure to hydrate this week to prepare.

And most importantly, good times and good attitudes are REQUIRED!

GETTING HERE & ENJOYING THE WEEKEND

Once you’re ready to get on your way, we’ve posted information on getting to Camp Shaw here.
